Mother and Daughter Toronto Chatelaine:Mothers and daughters on pride, regret and the things they’ve never said

Over the years my mother has made me laugh the loudest and cry the hardest. When I was outed in my early 20’s we went from besties to estranged relatives overnight.

Today we’re back to being besties again and my mother continues to show me what love looks like. Whether were cooking in the kitchen, dancing to the latest song or talking about sex. Our relationship is stronger than ever , I wish I could bottle her humble spirit and exuberant energy and share it with the world. In the May issue of Chatelaine Magazine my mother and I share part of our journey (check us out on page 78) . You can watch our interview  and other inspiring stories from mothers and daughters on the Chatelaine website.
