Bashful is Blush
This carefully curated photo is 4 weeks and $$s of dollars in the making .2 months ago Jill and I were invited to take part and attend the unveiling of the Canada Post and Canada 150 equal marriage stamp. So of course I needed a new outfit to commemorate such a historic occasion. 4 Stores, dozens of online sites, tears, headaches, excessive cursing, shipping , customs fee’s , returns more returns, cursing , tantrums, more tears ,1 tailor later AND voila I have my dress.
Sounds complicated for just a simple a-line dress, right? Well not if you’re plus sized, us plus size shoppers know all to well the perils of shopping while plus. Not being able to find a brick and mortar store in your area that reflects your style, the item that you covet doesn’t actually exist in your size, exorbitant shipping and custom fees, then you finally find something and realize its way out of your budget. But I digress back to my dress. I finally have a blush dress (meow) thats minimal, timeless that can take me from a wedding, special event or even just dinner with the girls. You can trust that this dress will be in rotation for seasons to come. Can you picture this dress draped in faux fur paired with a blush wool coat. YAAS!
